 even with BG Cloverdale for 2nd place; 

 Bethlehem #2 & Zion Luckey win twice 

 to catch Salem Grace for 4th; 

 BG Trinity moves over .500 with series win; 

 HR happy Pemberville Presbyterian 

 wins twice to move out of basement

PP rallies to win 1st series in 6 weeks;

Guests capture season head-to-head, 4-2

G#1:  BGSM, 3-2

Hosts rally for pair in 9th to claim opener;

John Kunstmann's RBI double ties it & Keith Miller's 2-out,

walk-off 2-sacker wins it;

A Julie Williams 2-run HR in 2nd gives PP an early lead;

Larry Zimmerman belts a solo shot for BGSM in 3rd

G#2:  PP, 1-0

Kim Tezak's solo HR in 6th is only run of contest;

Tezak also doubles twice

G#3:  PP, 5-0

PP uses 5 solo HRs in finale to earn win;

Chris Tezak (1st & 5th innings), Williams (2nd & 7th innings)

& Kim Tezak (5th inning) all go yard;

Chris Tezak also doubles for 3-hit game

PP improves to 19-38; BGSM slips to 18-36

Trinity captures 8th series win in last 10 attempts;

Teams divide 6-game season set

G#1:  BGTUM, 7-4 (11 innings)

TUM scores 3 in 11th on 6 singles with Gary Manning's

bases-loaded safety putting team ahead for good

G#2:  SGU, 7-3

Don Young has 4 hits (2-2B, 3B, HR) & knocks in 3

in SGU victory

G#3:  BGTUM, 12-1

All 9 Trinity players drive in at least 1 run in finale runaway

with Dave Avery, Brad Kratzer & Dana Kratzer

knocking in 2 apiece

Trinity climbs to 29-28; SGU slips to 31-26

BG Cloverdale (1) at Bethlehem #2 (2)

B#2 gains ground in battle for 2nd place with series win;

Teams split season series

G#1:  B#2, 3-1

B#2 snaps a 1-1 tie in 8th with a pair of runs on

Duane Peters' 2-out RBI triple & John Keiser's followup double;

Travis Ford & Craig Kleine hit 6th-inning solo HRs

for their respective clubs

G#2:  B#2, 8-3

B#2 trails 1-0 entering 5th, but score all of its runs

over next 4 innings;

5 different B#2 players have 3 hits each, including Russ Abke

who collects a RBI triple in 5th to start team's comeback

G#3:  BGC, 5-3

BGC scores 4 in 1st inning & builds lead to 5 runs in 5th

before B#2 mounts a rally that falls short;

Seth Peters, Ben Peters & Jerry Charles all have RBI

3-baggers in game while Caleb Peters hits a solo HR to start

Zion continues climb with 6th series win of 2nd half;

Zion takes season series, 4-2

G#1:  ZL, 6-1

Dean Schuerman's bases-loaded single in 1st puts B#1

in front early, but that's all team can muster offensively;

Rick Nelson's RBI triple in 5th puts Zion ahead for good;

Nelson also doubles twice in opener;

Dan Meyer knocks in 2 on a double in 7th to salt game away;

Mel Karns has 4 hits for B#1

G#2:  ZL, 6-5

Meyer has 5 RBI for Zion on a 2-run double in 5th & a

3-run HR in 7th which stands as game-winning blow;

Curt Juergens has 4 hits for Zion;

4 of B#1's run count comes on a Harry Reynolds grand slam in

6th frame that rallies team to a short-lived 5-3 advantage

G#3:  B#1, 5-3

B#1 scores all of its runs over 1st 2 innings & then holds on

as offense gets just 4 hits rest of way;

A Juergens RBI triple in 6th cuts Zion deficit to 2 runs,

but team can get no closer;

A Karns 2-run triple in opening stanza & a Steve Kreais

3-sacker an inning later highlight B#1's attack

B#1 dips to 30-27; Zion ups mark to 31-26

BGN opens up 5-game lead atop standings with 9 to play;

Naz wins season head-to-head, 4-2;

Magic number to clinch share of title stands at 4 with BGC & PM;

G#1:  BGN, 13-3

Guests bang out 24 hits en route to win, including 4 each by

Jody Yowler (3B, 2 RBI) & Kevin Miller (3-2B, 2 RBI);

A big 5-run 4th inning snaps a 2-2 deadlock & is difference

in game as Bernie Blasius, Michelle Lewis, Miller

& Brendan Yowler have RBI doubles with Lewis knocking in 2;

Another 5-run frame in 8th puts more icing on victory cake;

Mark Armbruster (2 RBI) & Jody Yowler have run-producing

triples in team's late-inning outburst

G#2:  BGN, 5-4

Miller's 2-out, walk-off RBI triple wins it in 9th after team rallies

to tie game in 8th on Armbruster's 2-run, 3-bagger with 2 away;

Armbruster also has a RBI triple in 2nd inning

G#3:  NR, 5-4

Lyle Schroeder's HR in 7th breaks a 4-4 tie & holds

up as game winner as NR salvages a win on night;

Sonny Castillo leads hosts with 4 hits & 2 RBI on a

run-scoring deuce in 3rd & a solo HR in 5th which pushes

team's lead to 4-2 before consecutive RBI singles by

Jody Yowler & Miller tie game in 6th;

Yowler (2 RBI) paces squad with 4 safeties, while

Miller (2-2B, 2 RBI) is 1 of 4 Naz players with 3 hits

BGN goes to 38-19; NR settles at 29-28

PM records 5th sweep of season in hard-fought series;

PM takes all 6 games in season series

G#1:  PM, 3-2

PM scores all of its runs in 5th & hangs on for win;

Darren Pash & Alex Ward have RBI triples for guests;

Fred Swihart his a 2-run HR for SR in 6th

G#2:  PM, 10-8

Ward & rookie Brian Richardson both drive in 4

runs for PM with Richardson hitting a grand slam

in 3rd inning for his 1st WCDL hit;

Ward has a pair of 2-RBI triples in 1st & 5th frames;

Swihart collects 3 more RBI for SR, including a

2-run bomb in 5th

G#3:  PM, 10-9

Pash (2B, 3B) & Tom Jividen (2B) plate 3 runs each

& Rick Ward has 5 hits (3B, RBI) to lead PM;

Larry Michel has 4 hits for SR & Swihart brings home 2 more

PM jumps to 33-24; SR falls to 17-37
