 Pemberville Methodist clinches 2nd place with 

 pair of wins against Bethlehem #1 

 Stony Ridge records 3 wins to close 

 regular season on high note 

 Bethlehem #2, Zion Luckey & New Rochester

 also record series wins to end year

PM ends campaign with 10 wins in last 12 games;

Teams split season series, 3-3

G#1:  PM, 6-2

G#2:  B#1, 5-2

G#3:  PM, 6-3

B#1 finishes at 33-33; PM concludes at 40-26

BG Cloverdale (1) at New Rochester (2)

NR wins 3rd straight series to cap regular season;

Squads split head-to-head battle, 3-3

G#1:  NR, 3-0

G#2:  BGC, 7-6

Ralph Aufdenkamp's lead-off, walk-off HR in 9th

wins it for BGC

G#3:  NR, 6-1

BGC closes at 35-31; NR settles at 36-30

Zion Luckey (2) at BG St. Mark's (1)

Zion closes regular season with 6 straight series wins;

ZL takes 4 of 6 on year from BGSM

G#1:  Zion, 13-3

Zion opens night with a 27-hit onslaught with Brian Burrell

going 6-for-6 with a RBI triple in 2nd inning;

Jim Hansen (3B, 2 RBI), Mike Moenter (RBI) &

Rick Nelson (4-2B, 4 RBI) each contribute 4 hits;

Larry Zimmerman hits a 2-run HR for BGSM

G#2:  Zion, 2-0

Moenter goes 4-for-4 with a pair of RBI triples;

Moenter drives in runs in 1st & 5th frames;

Burrell adds 3 more hits for Zion

G#3:  BGSM, 7-6

As a year end ZL-BGSM tradition, both teams agree to play

a spirited game of HR derby;

Marilyn Shepperd's walk-off bomb in 9th wins it for hosts;

Zimmerman goes deep twice, while

Larry Weiss, Roger Hayward & Mark Henning also connect downtown for BGSM;

Weiss' blast brings in 2 after Henning goes high for a double;

Dick Eilert, Hansen & Moenter each homer

twice for Zion, which jumps out to a 5-1 lead in 5th;

Hansen's radar is a little off in his 3rd at bat as

he manages a walk hit;

Hansen's 2nd HR ties game at 6-6 in 8th

Zion finishes at 37-29; BGSM ends at 21-42

B#2 ends year with consecutive series wins;

Squads each win 3 games in season head-to-head

G#1:  B#2, 7-6

Travis Ford caps a 2-run 9th for B#2 with a walk-off RBI single

G#2:  BGTUM, 5-4

G#3:  B#2, 3-2

Trinity closes at 33-33; B#2 finishes at 36-30
