Mike Barbour knocks in 4, including 1 on a 3-bagger;

Barbour finishes with 4 hits as BGN scores in every frame but 7th;

BGN trails by 1 after a half inning of play, but scores

game's next 8 runs to take control;

Darren Pash has 4 hits & an RBI for PM;

PM's Grace Jividen has 3 RBI & Paul Spicer 2 RBI with

each driving in a runs on a double;

PM puts hammer down in G#2, scoring 5 times in opening

BGN holds its advantage until 6th when PM explodes for

runs on 11 singles (with all but 1 of initial 10 shooters

reaching safely), including a pair of RBI hits by Tom Jividen;

Pash turns in another 4-hit game to end series with 13 hits (2 RBI);

Bill Bosworth has 3 hits for BGN in G#3;

Bob Jividen (RBI) & Grace Jividen each contribute 8 hits

on night with Grace driving in 5 runs to equal Tom Jividen

its half of 2nd, then grabs lead for good with 2 in 6th on

RBI doubles by Al & John Troutt;

Chester Griswold ends scoring with solo blast in 8th;

John Troutt ends contest with 3 hits (2-2B, HR) &

Jeremy Orth leads SR with 3 safeties, including a double;

SR bounces back in G#2 with a 6-1 win;

Ed Boelkens has 4 hits for SR & Orth reaches 3 more

times & drives in pair;

SR takes 3-0 lead in 3rd on 6 singles, including RBI

hits from Orth, Larry Michel & Lees;

SR pushes advantage to 5 runs with 2 in 7th on a triple by

Orth & a single by Bretz;

Jim Jones gets PP its lone tally with an RBI double in 7th;

but team soon finds itself trailing 5-2 after 4 PP long balls;

Rookie Carrie Tezek goes deep in 3rd, Ron Curtis & Dale Fahle

(2-run shot) connect in 4th & Griswold does same in 6th;

Steve Kurfess gets into act with solo HR in 7th & Boelkens

draws SR to within a run in 9th with a 2-out RBI triple,

but squad can't get equalizer;

Boelkens garners 3 more hits as does Jones to pace

their respective sides;

Boelkens ends series with 9 hits, while Orth & Lees have 6 apiece;

Jones leads PP with 6 safeties despite playing in only 2 games

Burrell finishes with 3 hits as does Dick Eilert (2B, RBI)

Rick Nelson also has 2 RBI on a triple in 3rd

& a double in 6th;

Zion builds 10-0 lead before BGSM hits scoreboard in 6th;

Larry Zimmerman's yard shot in 7th drives home pair for BGSM;

Zion wins G#2 in 12 innings by score of 3-2;

Eilert's 2-out, walk-off single in extras caps 3-hit frame;

Dan Meyer paces ZL with 2 doubles & a solo HR;

Mike Hoelter's solo HR in 2nd gives Zion 1-0 lead;

but Zion pulls away in 8th with pair on a Juergens 2-run HR;

Todd Kurfess leads both sides with 3 hits in G#3;

NR takes series despite being outscored for night

NR takes opener 10-5 behind Adam Snyder's 4 hit

(all doubles) & 5 RBI game;

Stev Bockbrader also nets 4 hits (2-2B) for NR &

drives in pair, while Russ Siek knocks in 3;

NR trails after 1 inning, but takes lead for

good in 2nd on Snyder's 2-run 2-sacker;

A big 4-run 5th for NR is difference in game &

a 3-run 9th salts it away;

Andy Janes has 3 hits for Trinity & Gary Manning

collects 3 RBI on 2 HRs;

Mike Farr drives in 2, including 1 on a solo shot;

Ryan Chamberlain's walk-off triple in 9th caps 2-run

rally for NR in wild 6-5 victory after Trinity fights back

with 3 runs in 9th to erase 2-run deficit;

TUM takes 2-0 lead in 1st, but NR counters with 3 right after

& holds lead until 9th inning;

Dan Saygers has 4 hits for Trinity, including a solo HR,

& drives in 2 for game;

Bockbrader puts 3 more hits on board, while

Dave Snyder plates 2 teammates on a pair of doubles;

Saygers (HR), Manning (HR) & Dave Avery (2B) had TUM's

RBI hits in 9th-inning comeback, but Jim Dobson's

RBI single re-ties game before Chamberlain ends it;

It's all Trinity in a 10-2 romp in G#3;

TUM builds a 5-0 lead, mainly on strength of a 4-run

3rd & coasts to victory;

Brad Kratzer (3B) & Saygers (HR) have big blows in

3rd with their hits producing 2 RBI each;

Mel Karns has 3 hits for B#1 & Ken Rahe knocks in 2

on his 1st-inning triple that gives club lead

until Gary Ever's ties game in 7th at 3-3;

SGU jumps out to a 2-0 advantage in 5th, but B#1 rallies

this time for 3-2 win in middle game;

HRs by Evers & Bob Marsh account for SGU's runs;

Dave Apgar's RBI double ties game in 7th for B#1 & Scott

Samson immediately breaks tie with a triple for deciding tally;

Dave Helm has 3 doubles & RBI in B#1 win;

SGU breaks out heavy lumber with 6 HRs in finale

en route to 6-3 conquest;

Hosts hit all but 1 of their long balls after 6th inning;

Evers hits 3 HRs & Bowe smacks 2, including a 6th-inning

round tripper that puts SGU on top for good;

Apgar & Rahe (RBI, 3B) pace B#1 with 3 hits each;

20 of SGU's 24 hits for series are for extra bases of which

Evers collects 6;

Apgar finishes evening with 7 safeties
