lead for good in 4th on an RBI triple by Jim Jones &

he scores on Dale Fahle's single;

Troutt's solo HR in 7th puts PP ahead by 3, but SGU cuts

deficit back to pair on Jim Bowe's RBI double;

Rookie Brent Welch closes out scoring for PP

in 9th with RBI triple;

Welch doubles in 3rd for his first hit;

Don Young has 2 doubles for SGU;

G#2 belongs to PP, 6-2;

PP makes it 2 in a row with another balanced effort;

Welch drives in 2, including 1 on a triple in opening frame;

Fahle plates 2 as well, including an RBI triple in

5th giving PP a 2-0 advantage;

Like Welch, Fahle's other RBI comes on a single;

Gary Evers accounts for both SGU runs with a HR in

Ron Curtis adds a bomb for PP with his solo shot in 7th;

Jones plates PP's 4th run with an RBI double in 6th;

Troutt gives PP a 1-0 lead in 3rd with a lead-off HR, but

Gene Fairbanks ties game with his triple in 4th;

Troutt strikes again in 5th with another solo shot,

but SGU responds with a pair of tallies on a John Schulte

RBI double & a run-scoring single by Young;

PP knots score in 7th on Jones' RBI single, but

SGU snags lead for good a half inning later on

A Jerry Bruns RBI single in 2nd ties game early for

BGSM after Stev Bockbrader puts NR in front with RBI

double in opening frame;

BGSM rebounds to grab G#2, 3-1;

Playing in his 1st series since 2013-14, Ryan Dulaney

hits a 2-run HR in 2nd which stands as winning hit;

Al Bowe homers later in 7th for BGSM;

Castillo drives in lone NR with single in 3rd;

Visitors earn series win with another 3-1 conquest in finale;

Bowe hits solos HRs in his first 2 at bats

Kit Keiser hits a 2-run HR in 7th & Martin has huge hit

in 9th with a 2-out, 3-run bomb right after John

Keiser's RBI double & Gerwin's single;

Rick Cajka has 4 hits for B#2, including his team's 1st hit in 9th;

Curt Juergens also has 4 hits for Zion with his final safety,

an RBI double, putting Zion up by 5 in 6th;

Rick Nelson drives in 2 on a pair of doubles, while Jessica

Lang hits a solo HR in 6th;

B#2 wins middle contest, 6-2;

Rick Nelson (2B) & Dick Eilert (1B) stake ZL to a 2-1

lead after 2 innings, but B#2 scores game's last 5 tallies;

Pepper Martin ties game in 6th with RBI triple &

Tom Jividen's 2-run triple in 8th caps PM comeback;

Rick Ward (2B) & Bob Jividen (RBI 2B) have 4 hits each for PM,

while Ed Boelkens has 4 hits for hosts, including an RBI triple;

PM pounds out 29 hits in 12-3 win in G#2;

SR takes 1-0 lead in 2nd, but PM responds with game's

next 9 tallies;

Bob Jividen has 6 hits & 4 RBI, including a 2-run HR in

8th to close his team's scoring;

BGC wins 2nd series of season after slow start

Trinity takes G#1, 4-0, breaking open a 1-run game

in 7th with solo HRs by Mike Ruthenberg & Shelby Janes;

Mike Farr adds another solo shot in 8th;

Brad Kratzer has an RBI triple in 3rd for TUM;

Craig Kleine has 2 doubles for BGC;

Seth Peters has 4 hits in BGC's 7-2 victory in G#2;

Down 2-0 to start 6th, Trinity ties games, but BGC

quickly breaks deadlock with 3 tallies all on

a Paul Wachter bomb;

Jerry Charles & Kleine have RBI triples in 4th & 5th

innings, respectively;

Kleine drives in another in 8th on a double;

Dave Avery & Charles (2B, 3B) lead each side with 3 hits apiece;

Wachter's solo center strike in 10th holds up as
