after Darren Pash hits an RBI triple in 6th to put PM ahead 1-0;

Pash ends game with 4 hits;

Rick Ward has 6 of PM's 21 hits in team's 7-1 victory in G#2;

Bob Jividen & Alex Ward both contribute 4 safeties;

BGC goes up 1-0 in 2nd on Paul Wachter's RBI single & lead

& finishes contest with 4 RBI;

Jody Yowler produces 4 singles for BGN, while Brendan Yowler,

Lees' 2nd triple of game in 8th adds insurance for hosts;

BGSM manages just 2 hits & both teams combine for just 11;

It's SR that struggles offensively in G#2, but BGSM isn't

much better in escaping with 1-0 victory;

John Kunstmann's 2-out RBI triple in opening frame

stands as lone run of contest;

Team's combine for 10 safeties with BGSM only netting 4;

Earl Hagg of SR has 2 hits for 2nd straight game;

SR takes series with 6-3 win in finale;

John Troutt drives in 3 for PP with 2 coming on a HR in 8th;

Chris Tezak contributes an RBI triple for hosts;

B#2 blanks PP, 5-0 in middle contest;

Ken Finley goes 4-for-4 with an RBI;

Rick Cajka & Gerwin each have RBI triples;

Pepper Martin strokes a 2-run double for winners;

B#2 completes sweep with 3-2 victory in finale as

Cajka's 2-out double in T-9th snaps 2-2 deadlock;

Trinity takes G#1, 3-2, in 10 innings;

Gary Manning hits 2-out RBI double in extras

scoring Dana Kratzer who triples with 1 out;

Mike Farr's RBI triple with 2 outs ties game in 9th at 2-2;

B#1 scores both of its runs in 8th on 2-out safeties

by Ken Rahe (3B) & Mel Karns (1B) erasing a 1-0 deficit;

Dan Saygers, 1 of 5 players in contest with 3 hits,

doubles in TUM's 1st run in opening frame;

Win is Trinity's 1st in extras this year in 4 attempts;

Trinity's Mike Ruthenberg hits a 3-run bomb in 2nd inning

to give team a lead it wouldn't lose & Manning belts a 2-run

blast in 5th as TUM wins 9-3 in G#2;

Andy Janes & Brad Kratzer help Trinity's cause with RBI triples;

Andy Kreais & Dean Schuerman hit solo HRs for B#1;

B#1 salvages series with 10-8 victory in nightcap;

5-for-5 with a double & an RBI triple;

John Schulte belts a 3-run HR for SGU in 6th to put

team ahead by pair of runs;

Jim Bowe hits a 2-run double in 1st to give SGU early lead;

Zion makes it 5 wins in a row with a 7-6 victory in G#2;

SGU jumps out to a 3-0 lead in 1st on Bob Marsh's RBI

triple & Chris Lockoski's follow-up 2-run HR;

Zion gets all 7 of its runs in 3rd inning on 8 hits,

including 7 straight to start frame;

Jim Hansen has big blow in rally with a 3-run center shot;

Lockoski ends game with 3 RBI on 2 HRs & Marsh adds

a solo bomb to his hit arsenal;
