breaking 10-10 deadlock & Jim Hansen's follow-up

single giving team some breathing room;

Zion ties game in 8th on Brian Burrell's RBI double

after TUM battles back in 7th with 3-run inning

to reclaim lead which it lost in 7th after once ahead 7-4 after 3;

Zion's Rick Nelson goes 6-for-7 with 5 doubles, a triple

& 2 RBI, while 3 others (Burrell, Hansen & Mike Hoelter)

produce 4 hits each;

Hansen drives in 3 & has 2 doubles, while Hoelter has a solo HR;

Andy Janes (2B) & Mike Farr (2-3B) each post 3 hits for Trinity;

Farr has 4 RBI, including 2 on 7th-inning triple that ties game;

Dana Kratzer's RBI double later in 7th gives TUM its last lead;

Farr's 2-run triple & Gary Manning's 2-run HR spark big 3rd

inning that produces 5 tallies;

Both team's combine for 38 hits;

G#2 proves less dramatic as Zion uses a 5-run 1st to

coast to a 7-0 win;

Rahe knocks him home with a triple to put B#1 up by 2;

SR scores once on an Orth 2-out RBI triple in 9th,

but can't push across tying run;

Orth finishes with 4 hits for SR, while Swihart knocks in 3;

Helm, Samson & Fields all finish G#3 with 3 hits, while

Rahe & Kreais match Helm with 2 RBI each

NR starts night on positive note with 6-0 victory;

Stev Bockbrader's RBI triple in 1st stands as winning hit;

Bockbrader adds 3-run bomb in 5th to end

game with 4 RBI;

Gary Chamberlain & Dave Snyder add solo blasts;

BGC bounces back to take middle game, 5-3, as

Ben Peters goes 4-for-4 with an RBI;

Jim Meyer's 3-run HR in 4th gives BGC a 5-0 lead;

NR scores 1 in 7th on a Russ Siek double & 2 more

in 8th on RBI hits from Rich Lopez (3B) & Bockbrader

(1B), but rally falls a little short;

Lopez ends G#2 with 3 hits;

NR wins rubber match, 10-5, to claim series;

Guests vault out to 5-0 lead in 5th before BGC gets on

board later in 6th on Craig Kleine's RBI triple;

Don Young has 3 hits (2 RBI) for SGU, falling just

a triple shy of getting cycle;

Bill Bosworth has 3 hits for BGN;

BGN gets out to a 6-0 lead after 3 innings of play in G#2

& holds on for a 6-3 win;

Jody Yowler has 3 hits for BGN with a double, while

Mike Barbour knocks in 3 on a HR in 3rd;

Mark Armbruster also has 2 RBI on a 2-run

triple in opening frame;

Marsh & Jim Bowe have RBI triples for SGU;

Visitors claim series with 6-2 victory in finale;

Young puts SGU up 1-0 in 1st on a solo HR, but it's

all BGN after that with hosts scoring 6 unanswered tallies;

Barbour collects 3 hits, including an RBI deuce that
